Anneal and Forge Gallery

About Anneal and Forge. 

Anneal and forge was created by Nikki of  The Courtyard Workshop and Elizabeth Welch Glass. It's goal is to champion the dedication and hard work our makers put into their crafts. ​ We function primarily by running seasonal exhibitions, each one 5-6 weeks long, all based around a theme. When each exhibition ends we close and our makers can either collect their work or choose to continue onto the next exhibition if the work is suitable or replacing their work for newly themed items.We then set up the new exhibition and re-open!  We are also available "by chance or appointment" between exhibition times for those looking to purchase so there is always a chance items will sell in between.     Being makers ourselves we also attend craft fairs and shows between our exhibitions at the gallery and understand our makers want to do the same, this way of running allows our makers to take their stock away with them when they go and bring it back when they are ready. It also encourages a change over of styles and give our makers new challenges to make things to a new theme.  ​ To partake we charge £20 per exhibition to cover advertising fees and a 20% commission on sales.  ​​ If you're interested in taking part please get in touch!
